yet another play has come and gone. what is it with me and theater? now that i'm actually getting cast as interesting characters, I can't seem to give it up.

let's see, let's see...

writing-wise, i started something really good, but i saved it on the school network computer so it probably won't be making its way on here for a long time.

art-wise, i finished the huge self-portrait for class, and am now working on a series of watercolors.

music-wise, i wrote a song that sounds...well, trippy. Considering where i get my inspiration, this isn't surprising.

life-wise, i'm down and up, up and down. I really want school to be over. I wish i could take my ap exams and be done. No, i don't even want to take the exams. I want the college board to stop taking money that i could have spent on dvds and sushi.

back to the writing, though. I've been having trouble deciding what it is i should write. what i want to write. i like the genre of realistic fantasy, and i also like using stream of conciousness. what's difficult is setting up the story in a way that doesn't seem sloppy. Usually i try and let the characters decide where the story goes, but lately i've been wondering if this is the right way to go about things. i don't want to write myself into a corner. oh well. it's not like i have time to make anything exceptional right now anyway.
